Pride Month, celebrated in June, honors the LGBTQIA2S+ community’s journey, achievements, and struggles. It originated from the Stonewall Riots in 1969. The relationship between religion and LGBTQIA2S+, as well as the history of trans and Two-Spirit people, enriches our understanding of this vibrant month. Victoria, BC hosts various Pride events in June and July.
